Our nutritional needs are dependent on our goals too. How so you ask? The obvious one of course is the individuals aiming to reduce their weight must consume not only a certain number of calories for the metabolic system to be rewired, but also, they must consume certain foods to aid in that process too. Competitors also eat differently, a person aiming to be a body builder will eat differently versus someone trying to compete in physique, and so on. An athlete that really wants to be at the top of their game will also eat differently, especially since they are constantly burning a ton of calories. All these individuals will all consume healthy and clean calories, however the amount of food consumption will vary from person to person.
